CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) POLICY

Dear Customer,

As a result of the ongoing concerns regarding the spread of Coronavirus, Southern Cross Supplies has taken measures to ensure safety of our staff and customers.

With effect the following mandatory measures will be taken:

All staff have been instructed to comply fully with any precautionary measures issued by customers.

Sales visits by our reps:

Our sales team have been advised to take necessary steps in terms of using hand sanitizers and where appropriate masks to be worn during customer’s visits. No handshakes or other physical contact and to practice physical/social distancing.

At the moment our sales team will continue to do visits at their discretion and if deem necessary will contact customers via phone or emails.

 

Delivery by our drivers:

Drivers will also practice physical/social distancing:-

Effective immediately, on delivery, customers will be given their invoice.

Our drivers will note on our office copies: Name of receiver and time and any comments re the delivery for e.g. wrong items delivered or etc. So there will be no handing back the invoice to the driver once it is given out.

Our office copy will be the proof of delivery copy.

Payment: preferred payment is by credit card however if cash payment is involved, we will request customer to count the cash in front of our drivers and once counted to put in plastic money bags provided by our company.

We have also instructed our drivers to do deliveries efficiently, and to minimize time spend at customers premises, avoiding any social communications. Any issues re the deliveries to advise customers to ring the office or their sales reps.

To maintain a high standard of hygiene, hand sanitizers and masks are available in their trucks for their use.

Drivers will be cleaning and sanitizing their trucks daily on returning to the warehouse.

 

Southern Cross Supplies will continue to service our customers and currently we do not have any major supply issues except for cleaning products. Unfortunately we can foresee delay/shortage of products both coming from overseas and locally sourced but will provide information as soon as it is available.

We understand this is an unprecedented situation and the pressure it has put on everyone but we can assured our customers we will take all steps required to continue the supply chain.

Thanks for your understanding and support and will be monitoring the situation on a daily basis.
